My Newly Discovered Untapped Traffic Tricks

Have you ever struggled with getting traffic to your website and dealing with SEO and avoiding Google slaps? If so then you know that the whole process can be daunting for anyone who is struggling to focus on the real deal of making sales.

You see, I have just recently discovered a Traffic Jedi by the name of Kim Roach. Kim is one of my favourite Internet Marketing bloggers. If you know about Kim, you’ll agree that she is one of those uncommon finds in the Online Marketing Guru-space, who knows her stuff and constantly providing incredible value in everything she does.

Her traffic strategies are usually out of this world, a flavour of old school traffic tactics blended with new twists and tips – not your typical everyday traffic methods that bring in trickles of web visitors slowly.

By the way, you may want to give your blog a dose of Kim’s uncommon traffic goodness packed in her 74 page exceptionally written FREE report, the 'Underground Traffic Black Book' which has become the secret traffic bible of many veteran marketers who had access to it.

Kim Roach had quietly been implementing some hidden and unpopular traffic strategies that have produced fantastic results for her and the best part is that it does not involve any SEO and is completely free traffic.

Step 1: Write and Submit 1 Article

Write your article and submit your article to your blog and/or top 10 article directories.

Good contents easily get shared – people retweet, email, share on facebook and other channels. Your content has to be damn good if you want to attract. If you are going to be using these strategies I am sharing, it means you’d be able to cut down on the number of articles you produce because just one can bring over 1,650 visitors every month.

Why not spend a fraction of the time you take to write many low quality articles which put together have produced only but drips of traffic to your website. I hope you get my point here – you want to create an article that develops wings and make people want to share it freely. That would be like turning your readers into a life traffic getting machine, but they will read it, say thank you and share it. Cool huh?

Step 2 – Ping Article URLs

Now copy the URL of each article you published in step 1 above and ping each one using pingler or pingoat.

Step 3 -Social Media Surge

Take the URL of each article you submitted and Social bookmark to 46 Social Bookmarking Sites using a combination or Ping.fm and Hootsuite to get 100% auto-submit.

To get the 100% auto-submit feature, add your ping.fm account as a network under your Hootsuite account – that way you update only Hotsuite once which in turn automatically updates each of the 46 social media sites supported in Ping.fm. Both tools are completely free.

Note that you need to setup accounts with both Hootsuite and ping.fm, and then create accounts in each of the Social sites supported by ping.fm. You can create a few accounts daily until you complete all or you get someone to do it for you. Note that you’ll only do it once.

Step 4 – Turn that Article into a PowerPoint Presentation

Convert that article you submitted to article directories to a PowerPoint Presentation and distribute to top 5 slide presentation (document) sharing sites such as slideshare.com, slideboom.com, authorstream.com and slideburner.com.

Put each main point in your article in a PowerPoint slide – 1 slide for 1 main point. Ensure to add images in the slides and a link to your blog and the full article at beginning and end of presentation.

A Peek Inside the Traffic Dashboard

Step 5 –Convert the Same Article to Audio Podcast

Turn that same article to an audio and submit to top 5 podcast directories like itunes, odeo, podcastalley, podfeed and podcast.net.

There are 2 ways you can convert create audio podcast out of your article – record your voice or use a text-to-speech tool.

-To do it yourself, use a free tool called audacity. Read your article aloud and record it using audacity.

-You can use free tools to covert the article automatically to audio. If you have a blog, use odiogo blog plugin to automatically convert every single blog post to audio podcast.

-To convert single sets of documents, you can use readthewords.com to convert from various formats (pdf, word etc) to audio.

Step 6 – Convert Article to Video

Now convert that article to a video and distribute to top 5 video sharing sites like Youtube, metacafe and vimeo.

What you are going to do here is to merge that Powerpoint presentation and the podcast you created above to become a single media – video. Here are different ways to do this:

-          Use Camtasia (paid software) to merge the audio and powerpoint presentation as one single document, to produce a video. In this method, your audience will only see the powerpoint presentation on the screen;

-          Record yourself presenting your article to your audience, using either camtasia (paid software) or camstudio. Here your audience will see you on-screen;

-          You can also use anomoto (free tool) to do this. Here you’ll only need your powerpoint presentation and use a desirable sound file from animoto to create a video.

Next and very important is to submit your video to the top video sharing sites such as Youtube, metacafe and vimeo. You can automate your video submission with traffic geyser (paid) or tubemogul (free).

Step 7 – Convert Article To Tutorial

Turn that same article to a how-to, step-by-step tutorial and submit to top 5 tutorial sites including ehow.com, tutorialized.com, good-tutorials.com,designm.ag.com

Step 8 – Convert Article to PDF

Convert your article into a PDF (like eBook) format and submit to top eBook directories such as free-ebooks.net, getfreeebooks.com

Step 9 – Distribute the PDF

Submit that same PDF to top document sharing sites like scribd and docstoc.

Now you can see how you can literally extend the power of just a single article and give it wings. Are you beginning to imagine how many unique visitors each of those sites can bring you every month?

Just to give you an example, I submitted 2 of my PDF articles on Scribd and got over 500 views within 1 week. These PDF articles would continue to bring me visitors month after month.

The Case Study - 1,650 visitors from just 1 article in 30 Days

Now let’s do the math - 1,650 visitors from just 1 article.

From the 7 steps above, we have about 55 Distribution Channels where you will distribute different formats of that single article.

Now, let’s take our math a little further but we’ll be very modest for a start, however expect traffic spikes over the months. Imagine in the first month each distribution channel brings in 1 visitor daily, that would be 30 visitors monthly. So you could have an average of 1,650 visitors monthly from 1 single article every month.

Have you seen how you get spend a fraction of the time you spend on article writing and power every single article just by repurposing it into different formats and distributing them to different channels. That way you can be sure to satisfy the information consumption preferences of different audience – audio, video and text.

More Traffic Strategies - Traffic Dashboard

By the way, this is only one of over 24 different unusual and unpopular strategies in Kim Roach’s Traffic Dashboard eCourse containing over 20 different tested and proven traffic getting methods.

After getting over 500 views in less than a week from just one article in one of the 55 distribution channels I shared with you here, I am eager to start exploring the other methods in one of the over 20 modules of Traffic Dashboard.

Please feel free to share the results of trying out this method with me.
